Dear Friends,
CFM’s crisis-home graduate Yohanna Richard takes out the Northeast zone of Nigeria chess championship, undefeated. He now contends for the national championship. Richard was a child in Shaffa when his father and other family members were killed by Boko Haram and his region was wiped out. Richard was brought to CFM in 2016. He is currently studying engineering at Bauchi University.
Freedom Overcame the World in the 1st Century and Has Ever Since
“Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations. He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smouldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. In his name the nations will put their hope.” (Matthew 12:18-20)
Satan and his emissaries held sway over the multitude through constant judgement over them. This is where Christ would move to set them free and build his kingdom. Not through a physical attack against the enemy, but by the cross. Here, God showed his eternal forgiveness of the people, freeing them in their hearts. Knowing they were reconciled with the ultimate judge, they could no longer be contained and ruled over by evil. They were now under the law of love. Even if it cost them their life, the people of God knew they were free, never to be bound again. This is still our heritage, in eternity and in this life. We live as free people, free from our own flesh, self-centredness and indiscipline, and free from the hatred of the world against our neighbour. The snare of the fowler is broken, freedom and peace always triumph.
African Child Day
Wurin Alheri children’s school celebrate African Child Day with dancing, songs in many mother-tongues, and local foods. Children and teachers danced in their tribal groups, celebrating their different cultures together. The only place on earth this works is in Christ and his church. There is beautiful harmony between all the people.
Benue State Terrorism
CFM’s missions board meeting this morning to discuss Benue and mission in other regions. They are preparing for our missions travelling team to embark on their next tours around our stations. Dr Gabriel centre, Pastor Harrison left. Harrison just returned from a mission, giving First Response medical training in Tanzania with ITEC-USA.
CFM is opening a new computer centre in Benue State, getting it ready this month. CFM team were there last week getting the premises ready. The centre is for new disciples, new believers, who are being discipled by Ifeoma (above) and her husband. CFM is sponsoring and running this project on the behalf of these YWAM leaders.
………….
Benue State is the main remaining location of Fulani terrorism in Nigeria. CFM has 23 mission stations in Benue. The great Benue River runs through the state. It is the major farming resource state of Nigeria. Terrorism there is complex and there are several factors involved. One is Fulani exceptionalism. Another is political corruption. Another is past attempts by the state to exclude Fulani. Another is killings of Fulani by local farmers, which is severely revenged. Another is the arming of Fulani.
There are theories about this arming, which is lucrative. One is local politicians arm them, to create chaos to destabilise the state government who is dealing with financial corruption - similar to what is happening in America now. Another is the finances for destabilization in Nigeria originate in America, e.g. USAID and other massive money launderings - from warmongering, “climate”, migrant, woke and other non-transparent “crisis management” budgets - in order to render Nigeria’s resources accessible to exploitation. There is ample evidence of this all over Africa and it is now being addressed.
Another goes back to the oft quoted Kissinger Report of 1974, the then secret state policy of globalist America. Look it up and have a read. It states that food scarcity will be used to bring populations in nations like Nigeria (specified) into submission. This is happening today with the economics of deliberate scarcity. Many Nigerians are virtually locked down. Another is the Agenda 30 program of the UN, which states that farming areas are being given over to globalist goals, and people taken off the land. This is happening around the world. It is foolhardy to discount this as “conspiracy theory.” It’s real. Just read the UN Agenda 30.
All issues need to be seriously considered and attended to, rather than making a biased response. It matters too much to too many people. We see globalist tactics being made accountable now, and this is beginning to impact positively on Nigeria, but there is much more to do. Nigeria’s president is announcing a state of emergency in Benue. It’s not certain yet what this means. Thank you for praying.
We are often unsure about immediately blaming “the usual suspects,” which is a common reaction to issues around the world. Though there is truth to these reactions, they may also appeal to a support base. Our experience shows there is usually a “man behind the curtain” (controlling proxies), that manipulates groups against each other, for hidden purposes. Real progress can be made when we look beyond the surface, especially to follow the money. The money may come through nations we readily agree are suspects. But to discover where and from whom the money originated takes a little more research.
Engineered crises always have the same outcome: more money laundering and more regulations controlling people; loss of freedom of speech, freedom of movement, loss of rights to cash, digital surveillance, further economic austerity, shift of wealth to the top… as if the common people are to blame. God will help us!
3,000 people at a time, on the Wurin Alheri site, learn transforming skills and knowledge about the will of God for their lives. This lady is learning shoe making. Their shoes are good.
Thank you for Giving
We have a lot of needs on ground. 3,000 taught and discipled in our schools; 445 children in our crisis-care homes; thousands of patients in our hospital; hundreds of thousands reached in our mission stations; hundreds of computers used to train youth across CFM’s 10 computer training centres to repair and maintain; an 11th centre is opening soon; three vocational centres to maintain and reequip for July. These crucial centres are rebuilding peace between volatile Muslim and Christian youth, sharing the gospel to thousands of young people. We have a large building to complete for our precious girls, survivors of terrorism and some of appalling sexual abuse, our Crisis Care children. If God has provided for you and leads you to give, please see the details below, including tax deductible giving.
Thank you for praying! We are trusting God for transformation in lives and for difficult situations facing us. Thank you to those who give.
Blessings,
Kent, Ruth & CFM team.

Our Faith:
We believe in One creator God, who created all things. The incarnation of God in Christ, as redeemer, son and heir of creation. The death of Christ for our sins, his bodily resurrection on the third day and his current rule over the nations. God the Holy Spirit, the agent of salvation and restoration in the church of Jesus Christ. The resurrection of all humanity from the dead and the final judgement. Eternal life for those of faith and eternal destruction for the godless.
