Dear Friends,
“The kingdom of God suffers violence,” meaning people saw the opportunity, seized upon it, and pressed their way into it. No one was begging them to come. They pressed past all obstacles, criticisms, rejections, those who maligned Christ, and seized upon the gift he was offering. Faith must behave this way.
Below: three site videos from different perspectives.
Crisis-Care Girls’ Hostel
Our bank manager bought a new drone for a side business and tested it at Wurin Alheri. Most of our bible college students are off campus, in practical ministry in Nigeria and other nations. Our children were packed into our main chapel for their African Child Day programs.
At the bottom left of this photo you can see the crisis-care girls’ home being built. The dark brown ground patches are crop farms that have just been sown. The light brown grounds are sports fields. The green zones are orchards. CFM’s land extends below the buildings in the image above, in the lower right, towards the creek.
Video Footage from the bottom of the site. On the image above, all is Wurin Alheri, except the incomplete building under construction, left of centre. That is for an evangelical denomination. The hospital, bottom right, and football field are within the site. Staff and locals farm outside the site.
Crisis-Girls’ Hostel, staff apartments & offices, with central hall. The next stage is the concrete decking over the side wings, front and back rooms, for the upper level. The central hall has no decking, except for a balcony on the four sides at the upper-floor level.
From the Site Entrance
Video Footage from the entrance. A row of Norfolk Pine trees in front of the main chapel. You can’t see it, but in front of the gatehouse, driving up and down the main road, one can see our ministry logo in gold and white paint, the Lamb inside the Lion.
The Lion and Lamb logo of CFM, visible to all traffic passing by.
From the Site Dam
Video Footage from the Wurin Alheri dam, CFM built in 2016-17. The wall is 30 feet high, the depth of water in some parts. It is an uneven gorge. Over the years the water silts up, with erosion caused by rain. The dam stretches back almost 1 kilometre. The water never dries up, doesn’t even reduce much, in six months of dry season. The damaged terrain around is from tin mining by youth over the years and topsoil removed to build the main road to Jos airport.
Additional staff housings set in one of the orchards, including guest rooms, a lecture hall and public reception. It’s beautiful. The trees are beginning to reach the top floor - lots of birds. Mostly fruit trees, some eucalyptus. Jacarandas & red flame trees along the road beginning to mature. Animal buildings at the top left. Beyond the site are two of our staff home compounds, and a third, right of site, across the main road.
Thank you for Your Support
Building costs are about 10% of our total budget and get less each year, and they have no debt. It all comes from gifts, mainly from friends, and some Christian organisations. The work is all about people, especially people from grassroots persecuted regions. It’s all about restoring lives. It’s all about centering us around the gospel and Great Commission/ missions: each life reaching many, many more.
Blessings,
Kent, Ruth & CFM team.

Our Faith:
We believe in One creator God, who created all things. The incarnation of God in Christ, as redeemer, son and heir of creation. The death of Christ for our sins, his bodily resurrection on the third day and his current rule over the nations. God the Holy Spirit, the agent of salvation and restoration in the church of Jesus Christ. The resurrection of all humanity from the dead and the final judgement. Eternal life for those of faith and eternal destruction for the godless.
