Dear Friends,
Thank you for praying for CFM and for supporting. You are helping CFM with many projects to get the gospel out to many regions, to evangelise and to build churches, to train thousands of children, pastors and youth in skills and peace building, and to care for the sick.
Mobilising Francophone Students
From Cameroon, Chad, Niger, Sudan and Ivory Coast.
Cameroonian students crossing the border into Cameroon to apply for their passports. We are building for a strong Francophone contingent for next semester kicking off later this month.
Thousands of Missionaries
Unreached Interior Regions
Graduate Meshach Yakubu reaches unreached people, far in the interior.
The Jibu people are in Taraba state, Nigeria, with a growing population of over 100 villages. Villages are on the north or western side of the Taraba River, along creeks, or in valleys in the mountains. It takes eight hours trekking to access the first group of Jibu people.
Thousands of Pastors
CFM, constantly training the new generation of pastors for churches of all denominations, all over Nigeria. Calvary Mission Church, Pampam.
Egypt Conference September
CFM’s bible college in Cairo currently in session. We are preparing for a conference for 300 pastors early September, to build awareness for CFM’s bible college, all about promoting missions throughout the Middle East.
"After you have done all to stand, STAND.” “Stand, not because standing is easy, but because falling is not an option!”
Meetings around the nation.
House to house daily.
Our provost, Paul Shettima, travels to Cairo from Jos this month to teach in our bible college.
Ruth and I travel in September for the conference, held in a conference and camp centre between Cairo and Alexandria.
Mangu King Visits
The king of Mangu (centre) visited for prayer. He is a leading official in our state. Mangu is an important district, with a lot of terrorism in recent years. We discussed CFM’s ministry in his region and prayed. It was an encouragement. Outside, after the meeting, we spoke about the developing gardens of Wurin Alheri, what it was like before cash cropping: a forest, with all kinds of animals.
Natural Rehabilitation
Students at Wurin Alheri are planting several acres under our orchard trees for farming beans (cowpeas), first gathering the grass into our compost shed for next season. Wurin Alheri is a chemical free farming site, ecosystem slowly recovering. Teaching natural rehabilitation. We have termite mounds on site to feed the birds (and our children love roasting them too). The birds keep our trees clean of insects. No leaf or fruit damage.
Only the Gospel Revives
Only the gospel - sharing and living Jesus’ self-giving through our own lives - can transform our communities and reflect God’s glorious light into the dark places of our world. Not only did Jesus show us how by example, but he empowers us to live this way, to achieve the impossible. What a joy to hear students singing and laughing as they work near our house, knowing the desperate, tragic stories of some. Lives revolutionised, filled with faith and hope instead of misery and despair.
Thank you for your prayerful support. If you can support financially, please see below on how to give with tax deductibility. Thank you.
Blessings,
Kent, Ruth & CFM team.

Our Faith:
We believe in One creator God, who created all things. The incarnation of God in Christ, as redeemer, son and heir of creation. The death of Christ for our sins, his bodily resurrection on the third day and his current rule over the nations. God the Holy Spirit, the agent of salvation and restoration in the church of Jesus Christ. The resurrection of all humanity from the dead and the final judgement. Eternal life for those of faith and eternal destruction for the godless.
