Reaching Destroyed Places
A nation that has all resources, with wealth bulging at the door, the population cut down by hyperinflation, energy priced out of reach to 260 million people, then taxed to pay interest imposed by the IMF’s eternal debt policy. Most nations live under this kind of economic regime today, to a lesser extent. Nigeria shows how deliberate and diabolical “austerity economics” is. “Climate change” is now its leading “rationale” for national impoverishment. It demands people “make bricks without straw.” But God is still on the throne!
A family, where one of CFM’s students is doing his practical ministry service, praying for Nigeria. Many have lost family, homes and farms in attacks. Attacks are often about illegitimate extraction of mineral resources to global markets. CFM is reaching thousands of such villages with the love of Christ. He is the only sure One, who fills our hearts.
Expecting God’s Promises
Jesus fed over 10,000 with three loaves and two fish. Then the disciples were tossed on the sea and Jesus came to them, walking on the water. Peter, knowing Christ spoke with authority, not like the religious leaders, asked Jesus to call him. At Christ’s word, Peter walked on the water.
The Gospels record the test of Israel’s faith. Will we believe the word of the one who made all things? This faith is often shattered by the wisdom of man, beating against our faith on multiple fronts. Hold to your relationship with God, so his voice and integrity speak louder than the world. We will pass through “the trial of our faith,” like Peter did, but it will be worth it. Peter was up and down many times, but in God’s book he was a great apostle.
There are cynics today who don’t believe God’s promises. In the dark days of Rome a few believed, like Anna in the temple, waiting for Christ’s light to come. His light will come again and carry God’s work forward in the world. Are we ready, like Anna?
Training Women Daily
Ruth and CFM staff teaching women how to crotchet, to sell baby clothes, dolls and soft toys. Two batches of 30 women in this three-week period. They learn well and are keen. Watch video. Stop Press: 60 women came this evening’s class. You can’t keep them out.
Always Expecting God’s Deliverance
“This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the LORD’s Passover”, meaning the Lord is fulfilling his promises, despite the powers against you. (Exodus 12:11)
Not cynical and unbelieving, like some in Moses’ day, but dressed for action and ready for the fulfillment of Gods promises. Was Moses qualified? No, he was from the oppressive palace. He murdered someone in anger. He fled and forsook his people. Yet today, God is acting in this world through us all, his people.
Schools Everywhere
A typical school run by a graduate of CFM. CFM is helping missions stations weekly, either by roofing locally made buildings, or assisting missionaries with their needs. Missionaries raise all other resources for bringing locals to Christ and raising them as disciples. Over 500 stations: 2 new started this week. Many more stations led by CFM graduates working with other ministries.
CFM training 1,000s of children across many nations, because Jesus made children a priority.
Rescue Mission
Jesus rescues: whatever the cost, each life is worth it. He calls us to follow him, to join him in this rescue mission. Thank you for standing with CFM’s amazing team on the front line, in prayer and financial support as God enables you. Thank you for sharing and being a part.
