Dear Friends,
One of CFM’s churches in Abuja State, where our second crisis-care home for children is.
Since our bible college students have gone away for six weeks of ministry, we had room in our hostels for 1,000 children from other churches, who held a Christian evangelism training camp meeting at Wurin Alheri last weekend.
Many Fulani coming to the Lord one-on-one in Nigeria’s north-east. Our missionaries go from settlement to settlement and the Fulani cattle herders freely receive Christ.
The One Who Brings to Pass
God said to Moses his generation would know God as Jehovah, the one who brings to pass, who is faithful to his promises. We can know God by the scripture, theology, to some extent by philosophy, but it’s in his acts that we come to know him. (Exodus 3:14-15, 6:3) “He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel.” (Psalm 103:7) The Exodus was an experience of God’s people and a witness to the world of the faithful character, justice, goodness and power of God.
We are praying for new acts of God in CFM, something we have not imagined, through which God shall reveal himself to this generation. We love what we are doing, and believe God loves every arm of CFM, but we are also looking for what we have not seen, which God has in his mind, that can bring greater fruit of salvation to many. “Eye has not seen, or ear heard, nor has it entered the heart of man, what God has in store for those who love him.” “But God has given us his Spirit, that we might know the things freely given to us by him.”
God wants us to be his Exodus people, witnesses to the world, as he leads us on, as the cloud moves forward, into more and more fulfilled promises. He wants us to trust him. Our prayer is, “Lord, we are your people, all things belong to you. You are our Lord, lead us in the way you have in mind. Be glorified in our lives as your witnesses, that the world may know you as the one who brings life, who is true.”
Please pray for CFM, that we would hear God’s mind for wonderful gospel fruitfulness in the second half of 2024.
We have many missionaries in Kano and Kaduna States in the north. During the last two months our coordinator in this region has been going from village to village holding outreaches at our mission stations. His name is Abdul. Before coming to Christ, he was an Islamist terrorist and killed people. He has since won thousands upon thousands to Christ.
Praise God for Victory
When Moses called Israel to God’s purposes, Pharaoh put sanctions on them. This happens today. To leave slavery invites kickback, where we stand in our freedom in God’s word, when cancel culture hits back. We may not like the journey and may wish to return to Egypt, where slavery is easier. But God wants us to be his witnesses of his power, as he brings to pass his promises. This also happens on a geopolitical level. When African and other nations declare sovereignty, globalists lie and put them under more sanctions. There is a battle to fight, called spiritual warfare, to be free as God’s children. It brings us to the promised land, which our children then enjoy.
Everywhere our missionaries go people are delivered and surrender their charms.
After crossing the Red Sea they sang, “I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously, horse and rider he has thrown into the sea.” So he has done in Christ. He has conquered death and shame. He has done it, the one who brings his plans to pass. Constantly we are called to shout, dance and clap our hands, in joy, praise and honour to God, because he has triumphed over our enemies, in history and in eternity. If we don’t do this in the time of our prosperity, we become cursed. (Deut 28:47)
While our bible college students are on six weeks ministry in over 1,000 centres, our children’s schools are in full swing, and our bible college is running extra sandwich, diploma, degree, master’s and PhD programs.
Freedom, exodus, begins in hearts. We get glimpses of how freedom looks in our impoverished neighbourhood, when we see gospel living shining through the gloom, confirming that freedom for Africa, from the economic slavery, resource plunder, terrorism-financing by global criminals, and the devastation this brings, comes as the church leads the way in a new Exodus from hopelessness and fear. Ordinary people bring freedom, not through armed insurrection, not by withdrawing, but by living out the gospel and sharing it everywhere. God is at work.
Thank you for praying with us as we stand together in our faithful, just, good, and powerful God. If you can help us shine the light brighter by helping financially, please see details below.

Our Faith:
We believe in One creator God, who created all things. The incarnation of God in Christ, as redeemer, son and heir of creation. The death of Christ for our sins, his bodily resurrection on the third day and his current rule over the nations. God the Holy Spirit, the agent of salvation and restoration in the church of Jesus Christ. The resurrection of all humanity from the dead and the final judgement. Eternal life for those of faith and eternal destruction for the godless.
